Please read this information carefully; by submitting this registration form, you indicate your understanding and consent.

Coping After Suicide Bereavement Support Groups are not therapy groups. They are professionally facilitated peer support groups.

Space in the groups is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All groups meet in cycles consisting of ten 90-minute Zoom meetings over a four-month period (January-April, May-August, September-December). It’s expected that all members make their best effort to attend all of the meetings in the cycle. The registration fee is payable in full upon registration and can’t be prorated or partially refunded.

Coping After Suicide, LLC serves solely as a suicide bereavement advisor. Coping After Suicide, LLC; Joanne L. Harpel, MPhil, CT, JD, President; and the members of the Coping After Suicide Facilitator Corps (Franklin J. Cook, MA, CPC; Steven Karaiskos, PhD; and Marianne Reid Schrom) serve solely as professional support group facilitators and not as mental health professionals. Participation in a suicide bereavement support group can be quite emotionally distressing. Any advice or guidance that may be provided is not intended to constitute therapy or mental health counseling and shall not be so construed. Responsibility for seeking psychological counseling and/or medical advice rests solely with you (and/or your parent or guardian if you’re under 18). Coping After Suicide, LLC; Joanne L. Harpel, President; and the members of the Coping After Suicide Facilitator Corps are not governed by the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). By submitting this registration form you agree to release and hold harmless Coping After Suicide, LLC and its employees and agents; Joanne L. Harpel, President; and any and all members of the Coping After Suicide Facilitator Corps, from any and all liability that may arise out of your participation in a Coping After Suicide Bereavement Support Group.
